Blooming

I’m loving the way this Amaryllis is starting to open so it is a must for todays Flower Friday blip.

A nice sunny day today but again I have been mainly inside. A cuppa and chat at The Tittle Tattle Tea shop followed by the monthly book group, ‘The Trouble with Goats and Sheep’ by Joanne Cannon a book largely enjoyed by everyone. I particularly liked the phraseology, so descriptive.

Then a lovely Christmas lunch with the Ladies who travel ( or used to!). An excellent home made meal at Spoons in the next village. A pleasant surprise was that they now have a license to sell alcohol so didn’t take too much persuading to have a glass of fizz!

Now a quiet evening to myself as Chris head headed to Leeds to meet up with ex colleagues.

You may recognise a couple of blippers having lunch -Corinthian Column and Yorkshirebred .
