Village lights at 7.00am!

I know this looks like more of the same from yesterday but they were taken this morning at 7.00 am as I walked through the village to the St Ives Estate for our 7.15 am walk.
The rest of,the walk was too murky for any photographs.
The village Christmas tree is in the centre of the village at the war memorial. Above it is the Nativity outside our church. I tries to take the crib outside the Congregational church too but it’s behind the fence and a bit too high for me to take. All these places are on yesterday’s ‘Village window’ thank you all for your appreciation of what I think is an exceptional price of art work.

The third picture is an addition to last week’s early morning display
Santa’s belted belly seems to have appeared.

After lunch we headed off to Bingley for another community sing. Another good selection of Christmas songs. It seemed to already be getting dark. We’d heard there was some traffic disruption in the town but actually got through without a problem. The old Main Street outside the church was cordoned off as they were filming ‘Gentleman Jack’. When we returned home they were still filming. You could see lots of people in costumes and they had renamed the Old White Horse pub, The Green Man. It really was nearly dark by then! Look forward to watching that.
