Almost empty

I’ve decided that the final few bits to be emptied will be done over the weekend as I’m still tired and feeling a bit achey and sneezy. The study I’ve been reporting my health through since Covid began asked me yesterday to take another PCR test so I nipped off at 9.30 for my appointment. All very organised and I was handed 2 packs of LFT’s as I left. I passed these on to my neighbour (who had mentioned that she was having no luck online or via any local pharmacies) as I was able to order online the other day.

Down to the shopping centre to collect my parcel. I’d treated myself to a new shacket but when I got it home, it’s a size 10 which was not what I ordered. I’ll take it back next week as I’ve been able to reorder a correct sized one which will be in store on Tuesday. Picked up some bits at the supermarket and was able to swap eight old style £1 coins for legal ones in the bank too.

Mr PHL waited in for the kitchen delivery scheduled between 9.26 and 11.26 but nothing had appeared by the time I got home. Several phone calls later and it’s rescheduled for tomorrow between 2 and 4. A couple of packages were delivered by parcel force but the sink for the utility room contained in one of the boxes is cracked so needs to be swapped. 

We hoped to go to the storage yard to collect the motorhome this afternoon but that’s now planned for tomorrow morning as we didn’t get confirmation of the rescheduled time until after 5.

I got through the ironing whilst we were waiting to hear and have had time to look through the TinyTuesday entires and am pleased to announce the results,

Thank you so much to the 62 blippers who took part in this week’s  challenge with the optional theme of hope. It’s always a tough decision but I think I’ve made the right choices.
