A view from Jeanneb

Fun in the park.

I was really surprised to wake to a dull and what looked like a damp day. But once we got out it was dry and quite warm.

We headed over to Royal Victoria Park, somewhere I haven’t visited yet. It’s huge with a lovely landscaped area but also a massive play park. There is another area around the Pavillion where they have putting, used for the Glow in the Dark Golf over Christmas and the Christmas skating rink but I didn’t get to see that today.

I did get a swing with Jude in a fun double swing. She was loving it! ( I felt a bit giddy possibly as I was focusing on her!)

Lots of things for different ages to enjoy and the girls enjoyed a good many of them - extra.

We had a coffee and a cake in the cafe there. Eda had a strawberry milkshake and Jude a frozen yoghurt before we returned home for lunch and Jude’s nap.

As we got back to the house the sun came through the clouds and it turned into a lovely afternoon.

At 4.00 pm it was Eda’s ballet class in the village. As we arrived so did Chris (Boppa) as he has driven down today for the weekend.

Eda, as usual in her own style, went in her ballet outfit, wellies over her ballet shoes and on her Hobby horse!
