An ordinary life....

Freedom!

Backblipped 30.01.22

Look....a blip that's been taken outside!!  By me!!! Yes do not adjust your sets!  It's true.  I was out today for a social occasion and not a medical appointment!  Pigs did fly!!

Ele had invited us for a belated birthday dinner for me.  She said to arrive around 3.30pm for coffee and cake.  We got there just before 4pm as we stopped off at M&S to pick up some goodies to take with us.

It was so good to be out the house and it was sunny!  I was so keen to get going I forgot my camera!  I had planned to snap Glendevon or Stirling Castle as we passed but didn't think there would be much point with my phone due to the car moving.  In the end I had a wee brainwave (I am on a roll! :-) and took a video instead and took a still from that.  Still not the great but movement blur less than it would have been :-)

We had a lovely time at Ele's.  Caught up with our niece Jennifer too.  She's doing her Primary Teaching degree and starts her new placement this week with a P1 class!  She had P5 last term and loved it but she's not so sure about this placement.  She's been told to get lots of sleep as she'll be exhausted!  Apparently due to Covid, P1 intakes have children coming in not well socialised and with very poor concentration skills.  I think it will be a good learning curve for her.

Ele made a delicious dinner of Spanish tapas starters followed by fillet steak with peppercorn sauce.  Strawberries, raspberries, meringues and cream to finish was just perfect.

Ele and Kenny are coming with us to Harris and Lewis in May so there was some chat about that.  We're all looking forward to it.

Got home just after midnight but not so far after that the car turned into a pumpkin :D
