Not A Happy Budgie

Not a particularly happy cat either.
We had to collect her from the door at Bags' house this morning (due to The Cygnet definitely being positive) and take her to the vet to have her her claws clipped. She was beginning to stick to the soft furnishings and than is no way on God's green earth that she that she is going to let any of us clip them.
As usual the son-in-law had a fight to get her in the box (only the one puncture wound) and then she complained as if it was the end of the world until we got half way to the vet and then she shut up and made not a peep until we got her home again.
Apparently she had a hiss at whoever was cutting the claws (a first) and I suspect that the clippers took off a wee bit too much and the hiss was in response to pain.

Mr Grumpy has broken the mounting for the bearing so the bandsaw will be heading to the council tip. A shame for the want of a small part but when you can't get a replacement and it is death trap without it ............

There has been lots of washing and bed making today for No1 son and Butterfly's arrival this evening.
Apparently Butterfly has expressed an interest in going into Edinburgh tomorrow. We have no idea what for but I am sure we accommodate her.

One or too pictures of 'The Tulip' were taken, but as it hasn't really changed since yesterday I thought I would have a go at The Conch.
It holds potential for all sorts of lighting and weird angles (there are 9 shots in all over there) resulting in weird shapes and abstracts. I was really surprised how much light was getting through the shell from one of my small torches.
