EXPO 2020

It's the start of a new week, and it's going to be a hectic one! G doesn't have any lessons on Tuesday and Thursday as her student is on study leave. We decided to visit EXPO 2020 as often as we're able this week, so we put a few things in a cool bag and set off.

G had a normal Monday at school before we arrived at the EXPO site. We drove in again as I found the sticker to the VIP car park that a friend gave me just before Christmas. Well, I so wish I'd stuck it on the car before. The Jubilee Experience car park is a mere two-minute walk from the Sustainability Entrance! We are SO THRILLED!

So, today we visited Slovenia, Lithuania, Sweden, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kuwait, Monte Negro, Seychelles (where we were gifted a souvenir magnet), Spain, New Zealand and the Czech Republic. We would have seen Italy and The Netherlands if we didn't have to queue! At the rate we're going, if we manage to visit over 100 countries before 31st March, it will be an achievement!

We were home by 9 PM, grabbing shawarmas from our local Lebanese. More EXPO tomorrow. My blip is of the Spanish pavilion. It was very vibrant and arty. It just so happens that today is the start of Andalusian Week, and we showed up minutes before a flamenco cultural show began. They were some seats free that I made a bee-line for. My feet appreciated it very much!
