It's finished

The garden man finished on time despite the couple of setbacks he had, and we are really pleased with the result.  He's finished all the planting and has left plenty of space for the plants to fill in as they grow.  We have two tall trees; an amelanchier and a silver birch, and a plum, apple and pear fan trained against the garage wall.  He has planted an acer in front of Buddha and some non-spreading bamboo behind.  The rest is 'Prairie Planting' with grasses and some flowering plants, and a small herb garden.  There is solar lighting around the garden which looked really good when we got back last night; enough for 'accent' lighting but not too bright.

We've had the approval of one neighbour already; the man next door popped in for a look while walking his dog.
