Arizona Dreamin’

Night Sky

This is obviously not the space station. It’s Orion taken with my iPhone so it’s not great. I was able to see the Orion Nebula, even with my crummy eyesight.

We had a neighborhood ISS watch party in my driveway. Five of us, anyway. What a noisy group!  Neighbor on left said she saw it flashing across the sky. THERE! WHERE? THERE! Five arms pointing in five different directions. I couldn’t see a darn thing and was disappointed.
Then I looked at the time. It was 7:36. That’s when I screamed stated that hadn’t been the ISS! It was supposed to be visible at 7:37!
And dang! Streaking brightly across the black sky one minute later we saw it.

Warm night, terrific friends (one in her pjs), and lots of laughs. Doesn’t get any better than that. (Unless there’s popcorn)

Reno brother’s 12-year old grandson won a contest on Pi Day.  He got 46 digits past the decimal point correct. Can you imagine?  I’m lucky to know the 1 and 4.
