She Who Loved So Well

Our highlight for today was attending the funeral of a wonderful 90 year old lady. Margaret has aptly been called an angel. She devoted her life to loving God, her family and those less fortunate. She collected household and food items that folks might need and immediately handed them out when appropriate. She organized our parish angel tree at Christmas, for many years, single-handedly. She accepted turkeys, vegetables, etc. to make sure the local families in need had a nice Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. She was always smiling and an inspiration to many including hubby and me. We shopped for groceries afterwards and there were rows of potted spring flowers out front. This blip collage is my tribute to a life well lived. I helped Parker prepare for his religion test tomorrow and am sitting at the park while he practices lacrosse. Hubby is catching up on stuff from being away from home. Stay safe. Pray for Ukraine and the Russian citizens who are also suffering. Thanks for visiting. "She sprouted love like flowers, grew a garden in her mind, and even on the darkest days, from her smile the sun still shined.” - Erin Hanson
