Marjorie's ramblings

A beautiful bloom

Today was a big day for Mum. She had an appointment for her fourth Corona virus vaccination. We had to travel to Bellingham, which is a few miles further away than Hexham, but there is no vaccine centre in Hexham this time around.

I did not know that there was a Masonic Hall in Bellingham, but it was put into use for the vaccination programme. The team working there were delightful but there were awkward steps to negotiate with a wheelchair. People leapt to help me and ramps were put in place after the first step.

Unfortunately, the hall is wooden and the noise, from just a small number of people, was deafening. Mum could not hear the questions she was asked, but we managed in the end.

On the way home, we drove along the riverside at Wark to see the daffodils. They are not wild ones, but lovely to look at.

I intended to make a blip in Bellingham, especially for Cynthia (in the other Bellingham) but I did not manage it. Instead, here is a two exposure image of one of the glorious blooms in this week's flowers. Photoshop lined up and blended the images very well in the circumstances. (Not quite a focus stack, but almost.)
