All Saints Church, West Rasen

Bri has a few days off this week and as I am free today too we decided to go for a drive to see if we could find anything interesting to Blip. We took photos in two villages - Faldingworth and West Rasen, which is where this church is. All Saints dates from the 11th Century and is made of ironstone.

I've included extras of Packhorse bridge and Postbox Cottage, both also in West Rasen, and a shot taken in Faldingworth churchyard.  The Bridge is also ironstone and dates from the 15th century. The cottage, formerly mud and stud and now underbuilt in redbrick, used to be the Post Office, and is just lovely! It is late 17th century.

The Faldingworth shot (Death among the Daffs!) is one of only two from there that I liked. The other was of a cat!

Once back in Lincoln we went to Morrison's for lunch and to do the weekly shop. Home and time to chill out now!
