..Chapel, Islington - to see Matthew Halsall (night two sell-out). An active working church, but octagonal in shape a great music venue. There is a bar, but no drinks allowed inside the main auditorium.

Jazz using Harp, double bass, drums, percussion, piano, sax (tenor and bass), flute and trumpet - what more could you ask for. Particularly liked the Harp, Double Bass and drum solos - trumpet too.

Matthew Halsall – The Sun in September

Extra's 5 & 6 - Ye Olde Mitre pub built 1546 a short walk from St Barts the Greater and Lesser with Mrs M in the foreground and accessible only down a narrow passage between two streets.

Built in 1546 for the servants of the Bishop of Ely it is famous for having a cherry tree (now supporting the front) that Queen Elizabeth once danced around with Sir Christopher Hatton.

We arrived home early hours of Saturday, so complying with Blip regs!

Apols, will catch up on other blippers when less busy x.
