An ordinary life....

Room with a view...

Up at 7am, breakfast at 8am, in the ferry queue by 9am.  Can't believe we were on time again!

Thankfully it was a very smooth ferry crossing.  Apparently last week there was a 3m swell.  I wouldn't have coped well with that and neither would Ele.

It was raining when we arrived in Stornoway but a lovely lunch at An Lanntair, the Arts Centre in Stornoway, and a quick stop at Tesco to collect our order, we were on our way to Harris.  Woo hoo!  :-)

The holiday house is every bit as amazing as we hoped it would with a view to die for.  I could happily sit on the sofa / decking (depending on the weather ;-)) and watch it change before my eyes.

We got in, got the food unpacked and opened the Prosecco (no gin till tomorrow when we'll pop into the Harris gin distillery in Tarbert). Simple dinner of pasta and meatballs then unpacking commenced.

So happy to be here :-))
