Life through the lens...

Wide Wednesday

Today’s challenge is architecture.
If you look carefully behind the trees you can see the back of the Methodist Church . Built in 1863, but unfortunately closed a number of years ago and now split into apartments.
On the right of the church is the Church School CE ( VE) Primary School.

There are now only two mallards on the pond, along with a moorhen and the two Canada Geese. The female still sat on the nest and no sign of any young ones yet.
The water in the pond is quite low and unfortunately some green algae has started forming.
We could do with some heavy rain. Still only had a few showers.

I spent the afternoon at my sisters. She rang this morning to say she had fallen and broken her right hand. Now in plaster. She still had quite a lot of sweet peas to put in.
Well of course I volunteered to put them in for her. “ I was hoping you would say that”. She said!
Was rewarded with a cuppa and came home with a few plants too.

A beautiful evening but a cold wind.
Hope tomorrow is better as we have a garden visit planned.
