Down Country Lanes

.... but only after going up :-)

I will never tire of walking up the lane at Rhydyronen.   Perhaps it's that I already have over fifty years of doing it behind me but it is a special track, winding it's way high into the hills.   A stream below, the moorland high above and the ever changing play of light and shade.  Chris and I took Meg up there tonight, warm sun on our backs as we climbed, dazzling low rays on the way back.   A little bit of timeless magic.

The sunset over the Lleyn was still glorious at 940pm when we returned - extra pic.

A full day at home otherwise.  Admin, phone calls, laundry and a big chunk of time out in the back garden.   I've finally laid the gravel filled plastic mesh path which will run between greenhouse and frames.   The grass, relocated to a more suitable space, will provide Meg with somewhere for her needs.  Jamie's made it as far as Ruth's on his homeward journey after a fun day with Clara.   A happy day.
