If you go down to the woods today........

Today's Intermediate Walk was in the Gelt Woods near Brampton.

They are beautiful woods and added extra coolness to the day. The drop in temperature from yesterday was very welcome indeed and we enjoyed the walk.

When I looked into this dark stream and saw the reflections, I knew it would be my blip. It has a calm feel.

Back at home, Sharon came at short notice to help Mum. Maureen has a nasty bug so was not here. Sharon returned at lunchtime and there were visits from Margret (next door) and Margaret (across the road). Mum is still wobbly after the heat but beginning to feel some benefit from the coolness.

It is now raining. Hooray! (No watering of the garden tonight.)
