The Intermediates stride out

Thankfully Mum has improved enough for me to lead my planned walk with the Intermediate walkers.

The weather was decidedly iffy with light drizzle at the start. We watched the heavy rain clouds in the west as they were blown northwards, hardly affecting us all day.

The views were not as good as on Monday when I did the recce, but they were good enough.

Twenty of us walked and enjoyed each other's company.

We repaired to The Crown in Humshaugh for a drink in the beer garden.

Mum has had her friend Heather here this afternoon. It's good to have a distraction when you are in pain.
