Prairie Sun

An evening playing around with focus, experimenting to see what I could find. Too soft and everything turns to mush, too well defined, it just looks like I missed focus. It's a subtle art.

The question I pose is how much information is needed to make sense of an image. If it's crystal clear what the subject is, the brain has no work to do, the puzzle is solved, move on. At a certain level however, a discerning viewer will ponder how they feel about it, for a split second longer anyway.
