Speckled wood butterfly (pararge aegeria)

Many speckled wood butterflies visit our garden. This one was investigating our raspberry plants this morning.

Today I walked to the library to collect a book recommended to me by Emma, visited a couple of charity shops and the co-op, went for run, worked, met my neighbours for 'friendly Friday' drinks, and played Catan (won one game of two against Mr hazelh and Jon) and Kittens (won the one game).

Exercise today: 2.3 mile run; walking (10,635 steps including run).
