Tiny Tuesday: Smiler

Poor smiler, he's making the best of things, but he had the misfortune to emerge today and its been quite windy.  Dragonflies are quite vulnerable when they emerge as they are still very soft and can be  damaged by sudden movement.  As you can just about see from the extra, one of Smiler's wings has been bent by the breeze and there's a bit of a kink in the end of his body.

The good news is that despite the damage Smiler seems to be able to fly well enough, so there is some hope for him, but if not, well, birds need to eat too.
