Clear sky

It is getting chilly and definitely autumnal.

Out this morning to meet S for coffee and talk choir and other things. The clear up is certainly making inroads into the mess in Newington but a lot still remains. Then to the bank. I'll need to return tomorrow to pick up printing.

There was a bin thing going on at home too following a CEC tweet. Turned out later it was grey, green, not brown, black but not blue. Feels like bin bingo.

College meeting this afternoon. I found it quite hard to to engage with it but it finished on time. As the meeting progressed the cloud lifted, the skies cleared and the sun came out.

Gorbachev died yesterday. Much about him in the press today. I was in Moscow when he was in E Berlin, kissing Honecker, Oct 89.

Watched TV, including 'Shetland'. There was a late list of questions for tomorrow morning and I will need to rearrange the Aberdeen accommodation. That took ages and why is Inverness so expensive?
