The day thou gavest, Lord, is over

"The day Thou gavest, Lord, is ended,
The darkness falls at Thy behest;"



This hymn was played at at the Queen's memorial service. The sunset later in the day seemed to capture the moments of reflection too. We watched the whole funeral, apart from part of the procession from London to Windsor. Steve's sister came over from Wilts so watch it with us. I cooked lunch.

I found it in very moving in parts, and I do feel sorry for King Charles, becoming king at the age of 73.
