Animal

Its been a rather sunny warm day toda.  I took a quick visit to the allotment and managed to find a couple of courgettes and lots of tomatoes ready for picking.  We are certainly enjoying the tomato crop this year.  I took my camera with me and found this hoverfly on a buddelia flower.  I think the hoverfly fits the definition of animal and the flower vegetable for todays Tiny Tuesday, thanks to MaryElizaR for hosting.


This afternoon was the first bookclub meeting after summer where we all meet to discuss our next few books to read.  It was a good meeting with a wonderful selection of cake and biscuits.  Books were chosen, news exchanged and those that attended the Budleigh Literary Festival that had just finished agreed that this year was one of the best.
