A view from Jeanneb

Morning light

We had heavy rain all evening and into the night. When I got up at 6.15 for the early walk it was dark but the rain had stopped.

A hint of brightness on the walk up to the St Ives Estate and at the top of the walk, past the golf club, the sun was filtering through the trees at 7.30am. You could see the patch of sun glowing at the top of the path highlighting the autumn colours of the leaves both on the trees and on the ground.

A nice walk with the ladies with slightly depleted numbers. We were accompanied by a new dog ‘Poppy’ just being looked after by Wilsden Walker, she was having a great time with Dizzy and Pip the sheep dogs.
The water in Coppice Pond was still looking very low with the leaping wooden fish well out if tge water.

We then went to a Silver screening at Ilkley cinema. I discovered that I had accrued points and had enough for two free tickets. Free coffee and cake too at the Silver screening and we enjoyed the film, ‘Forgiven’, a bonus!
