Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum

Tuesday October 4
Laura kindly brought us bagels for breakfast from Panera on her way to work. When we were done, we unhitched the camper from the car, then drove to Laura’s apartment for Roger to put up a kayak rack and a couple of hooks for her bike in her garage - it required power tools, and Laura doesn’t have any. Once we’d done that we drove over to the Art museum for the rest of the morning to see their special annual Fall exhibit, Birds in art. My thumbnail picture was taken from their rooftop terrace/ garden. The lower left items in my collage are part of their regular collections, the three right hand photos were from the special exhibition. Then after having a sandwich for lunch we returned to the campground, hitched up again, and started on our journey up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Laura was following us up later in her own car, as she would be returning before us at the end. It was a beautiful drive, ( about 3 hours) enjoying the glorious colours. We set up camp, and Laura was with us a little before 8pm
