Rainbow Magic!

A wet start to the day. The rain sounded very heavy on the Velux window in my bedroom but in reality it wasn’t too bed when Grace set out with the girls. Eda had her cape on to keep her dry on her way to school - extra

I walked down into Larkhall to meet Grace and Jude at the Oriel Hall in the middle of the village for a performance of the Dragonbird theatre group. Specially for little ones the theme was appropriately weather. Lots of songs and actions including this net hung with chiffon scarves to represent a rainbow. She was loving it!

I remember taking Eda in Bristol to the same group and she loved it too but with hindsight the memory is tinged with the awareness now that she was as yet undiagnosed with coeliac and was quite poorly.

This lovely hall is also where Eda has her dancing classes and today I discovered it has a little library. Grace went in to change some books she had got for the girls. All run on trust. I would certainly use it if I lived here, I noticed a lot of recent books on the shelves. Loved the promotional boar out side.

We popped across to the Deli for a coffee and croissant and purchased some tasty treats for lunch. They have delicious salads.

Jude is having her nap and Grace a little rest before picking up Eda and then heading out for tonight’s performance. Last night was very good again but as John went to watch with a friend they went out for a drink and something to eat after, not getting in till after midnight.

The sun is out now which is good as Chris should be here soon and we are going to go into town on the bus.

Looking forward to seeing Eda too as she was doing ‘show and tell’ today. She didn’t remember till the very last minute last night and she chose Simba as we’d been reading about ‘The Lion King’. They take whatever r it us in a black bag and have to chose three clues to tell the class to see if they can guess what she has brought. She chose, ‘it’s from Africa‘ and ‘it grows a mane’ as two of them which I thought were very good.
