Holy Trinity and Wide Wednesday Results

Our daughter has arranged tickets for us to go to her graduation for a diploma in mental health she completed a few weeks back.  Gill immediately decided this required a new dress, and, not wanting to get caught up in the Christmas/January rush she decided on a trip to Stratford this afternoon.  As some of you know, I don't do shopping, so a walk around the Avon circuit in some late sunshine was my reward.

I have, rather foolishly, agreed to demonstrate focus stacking with a side order of HDR and panoramas for one of my photography clubs, hopefully this image will help (a 9 shot HDR pano) and also do for my Photography for Artists session too.  Holy Trinity in Stratford - with some good late afternoon sunlight.

Wide Wednesday Results:

This week’s Wide Wednesday theme was Architectural/Geometric and as usual you have all come up with some varied and imaginative takes on that.   Great to see blips from different parts of the world too. It has been rather grey and damp here so a burst of international sunshine was very welcome.

Favourites to:

Beedy – Manchester buildings – I loved the three windows with the internal stairs visible.
Jensphotos – Geometric – Architecture and geometry in abundance!
Trisharooni – Nautical Deco – and a blast of bright pink too.
Les Tension – A Milwaukee geodesic dome – with some organic content.
Anniebelle – Westconnex – simple shapes against a sunny sky

Honourable Mentions to:

60plus – old weaving sheds – gritty reality for these repurposed buildings – window glimpses too.
DollyDoug – Sage Gatehead – curvilinear swooshyness next to the Tyne
see the extra of the bridge too.
Bobsblips – Gibraltar Tunnels – motion blur on the road
Fitzbilly – Tree Shadows  lines in a Cotswold landscape
C1aire – Graph Windows – overlapping widow frames looking out to a blue sea and sky

Thanks to everyone who entered, as ever, just my opinion!
You’re stuck with me for the rest of November before Rock Area and Jens Photos take over.
We’re giving Bobs Blips a rest until after Christmas.
Next few themes are here on the communities page.
Next week the theme is Monochrome – anything you like in B&W or e.g. shades of blue
