Fundraiser Prep

There was a meeting at school first thing, looking at the changes in the way kids get their grades now (across all of Ibiza), so no longer a number but a word, and it's updated every 2 weeks rather than just 3x a year before the holidays... Raced from there up the island to help prep the clothes swap the ES church are doing in aid of 24-7! Spent the entire morning moving furniture (it's in a restaurant) and categorising clothes...So so many donations! It was a brilliant morning getting to know some of the women I've not really met before, one has lived here 57 years! All came here because of Ibicencan men they fell for, ha!
Asha got her eyes tested this afternoon, no surprise, she needs glasses for distance. Bless her she only needs to struggle through another week before being able to read the school board properly!
Then as the day was ending about 9pm got 2 messages, one from a woman who's blanket had been stolen and did we have anything for her for tonight (yes), and a second from a friend who was very hungry after too long of no food, poor guy. Managed to cobble together a pasta dish.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The ES church kindness and willingness to do this event for us.
2) An encouraging email from Gustavoat Caritas...giving us a name to pursue a meeting with.
3) Having food in the cupboard to cook for our friend.

Joy theme; Gathered, given, good.
1) Rosemary, gathered from the countryside.
2) Coffee, given by Danny when I was suffering a caffeine headache!
3) Feeling good after an encouraging message from someone in the UK.
