A Day In The Life

Coming in at #23 in our top 25 Christmas Carols per ASCAP is: Happy Holiday, also known as The Holiday Season, by Kay Tompson and Irving Berlin, 1942 • It was first introduced by none other than Bing Crosby in the 1942 film Holiday Inn. Other popular covers include Perry Como, Peggy Lee, The Carpenters and Johnny Mathis. My favorite version is sung by Andy Williams :) • US lost to the Netherlands in today’s World Cup match 3-1. Obviously disappointing but I’m proud of the way we played and look forward to being even more competitive in 2026. Next I’ll be rooting for England when they play Senegal tomorrow • We have three tabletop Christmas trees and this is the smallest one lighting up our Advent Calendar. MrsP opens the odd days, giving me even :) • I quietly wrapped some gifts for MrsP while she was upstairs doing paperwork. Did some laundry too. It’s pouring outside • I’m dreaming of a white Christmas!
