A day in the life

We had a good rehearsal and runthrough of our short program for tomorrow, Eva and me. Last year we put together a Christmas performance with poetry and music, which will be reused tomorrow. Eva is doing some of her own poetry, mixed with more well known Christmassy poems. I'm singing and playing Christmas type of songs, some well known, some less so, all in Swedish. The audience will be Evas card-playing Bridge club, so it's a bit informal but, still a concert. Maybe more about it tomorrow.

I had lunch in Kalmar and a few errands. Back home, time was spent on some administrative jobs and suddenly the day was over and all dark. No walk or anything. The weather is no good for that anyway, vertical snow and quite a lot of wind makes it unpleasant to be out there. Todays blip will be a domestic one, looking out, and in, judging from the reflections in the window. On Netflix I found a new documentary on Frank Zappas family and some concert shorts from Palermo in Sicily, where his father was from. Quite interesting to see a bit more of his private family-life.
