Ready when you are!

Quiet morning at home, me editing photos from village exhibition and Arth doing his exercises while I caught up on some TV.

At lunchtime my friend Liz phoned to see if I would like to go to the plant sale at Birtley village. We had to be there for the start to stand a chance of buying what we wanted and we did pretty well.

Here are the teacups waiting for the tired buyers; the entrance fee included tea and a strawberry and cream scone. Village "dos" like this are always a delight, even if you just sit and watch what everyone else is doing.

Rest of day tidying study. Arth does not like this and is objecting vociferously!!!
