HOW CAN IT BE THE LAST SILLY SATURDAY OF 2022

Hello Lovely Blippers,

I think it’s fair to say that Mr. & Mrs. HCB had a good Christmas and Mrs. HCB had a wonderful birthday  with enough chocolate to “sink a battleship”  - her family and friends certainly know she is a chocoholic and you can see that she is surrounded by more boxes of her favourite chocolates in this shot.

We heard the rustling of paper very late last night, once the football had finished - and decided that we would all jump out of our bag and help Mr. & Mrs. HCB to open some of their presents from their grandson and his girlfriend.  WOW - what wonderful gifts and guess what?  There was even a Yeti, and you all know what they are don’t you?  If you don’t, we have looked online and Mr. Google says this : “The Yeti is an ape-like creature purported to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia. In western popular culture, the creature is commonly referred to as the Abominable Snowman.”  We are now looking forward to getting some snow, so that we can all go out in it and show Yeti just how much fun it can be.  

We had a little discussion amongst ourselves and thought that we would call him “Yosef”, which is quite appropriate at this time of year, as it is from the Bible character, who was the father of Jesus and also after the man called Joseph who had a coat of many colours - so perhaps we ought to get Mrs. HCB knitting a coat, as she has lots of different coloured wool in her knitting bag. 

After that, Mr. HCB suggested that as there were some of Mrs. HCB’s favourite chocolates, perhaps he should take a photograph of her surrounded by them - well, we were up for that, because we thought that we might be able to help her open the boxes.  Although technically, Mr. HCB took the photograph, and a very good job he made of it too, Mrs. HCB did the fartnarkling, which she is good at and you can see the result.  However, we should say that the photograph was definitely taken AFTER midnight!

Mrs. HCB also added some text, also after midnight, because they and we wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year, which is not at all silly, but which shows you all how much we appreciate your kind comments every week.  We know that Admirer would love to see this HUGE gang and as Mr. HCB said last night “If this gang gets much bigger, we will need a trolley to transport them!”
