Sunshine all the way.

Is what we had on our drive home today though they were salt spreading on the motorway.
The sun was just setting as we entered home territory and Chris was in time to meet up with son Alex for a New Year drink or two at the village local!

Here you see Jude and Eda on the bike as we prepared to leave. They were heading across town to Victoria Park to meet friends. (They were late of course!) They couldn’t take the car as daddy was up at 7.00am to go surfing with friends in Devon. Such a crazy, busy family!

We’ve really enjoyed our 12 day Christmas break with them. Lovely to be with Jude in particular as her language is developing so much at the moment. Her ‘sorry Granny’ is so endearing even though she’s done nothing really.

Not long till we return as Grace has booked us into a lovely place we’ve visited before, ‘Gather’ in Batheaston, for a special curry night ( more about that later) as a pre birthday treat on the 28th January. ( Expected just to be asked to babysit but we’re invited too!) So not long till we see these lovely girls again.

Wanted to take a picture of the lovely Bristol Blue glass Rose Bowl  which Grace was awarded at the end of November. It’s so lovely close up as seen inset on her dresser. She had a great year in 2022 with two brilliant roles in Evita and Mack and Mabel.
Nothing as inviting on the horizon in 2023 but she is going to the Edinburgh festival!
