Not another scarf picture?

A busy old day. Dropped Phin at daycare and we headed to Ikea to fortify ourselves with a cooked breakfast before heading into the shop. We needed a few bits and pieces including some new doormats but also spotted a rather nice bed frame reduced from £1200 to £499. We’ve had our eye on it for a while but couldn’t justify the coat if changing the mattress too as it’s a super king size. There are apparently 52 in the warehouse so we’ve hit a wee bit of time to think about it.

We did spend a couple of hours tidying out the study. One carload to the local recycling centre, 3 bags of paperwork ready to take to a shredding centre in the morning and some space cleared to start emptying the bedroom into to get it ready to decorate. As obviously a new bed would need a newly decorated room and new carpet (yes we visited the carpet shop too!) to show it off. Decisions decisions.

Miss PHL arrived home at lunchtime and went to the recycling centre with her dad in exchange for lunch and a lift home. The good news is that her boyfriend is feeling much better so is putting his bout of sickness down to something he ate.

I spent the afternoon looking through the TinyTuesday entries which are as inventive and varied as ever.
