Capital adventures

Bukit Damansara

A day out and about with Olivia.  After some domestic stuff (laundry now the washing machine is back in place) and trying out Kitty with cat tv, not impressed, we walked to 163 for bits and pieces then took a Grab to the Waldorf Tower to see Alistair and more importantly introduce Olivia to Nala who is now 10 months old and loves cat tv.

Then a Grab back to 163 for lunch.  I ordered too much.  Some more shopping and we walked home.  By that time it was 3 so it was straight to the pool for over an hour.  The sun had gone and it was 'chilly'.  Later, in the evening there was huge storm.

#1 made dinner - not a success though we did try stay positive. Wen Hui was home in the afternoon, with a bad cold but didn't stop her working later.  The evening was mainly Olivia and I watching a programme about National Parks of the world with Barack Obama and a phone call from J.

The view is from #2's balcony.  A different perspective of the cranes next to Amelia's nursery across an area that is low rise, green and houses some VIPs. To the left, out of shot, is the Istana Negara, the Royal Palace for the King. We could have walked to Plaza Damas from 163 but unfortunately the priority given to cars here makes doing really short distances very difficult so Grabs were required. The nearest MRT station is near the cranes but walking really isn't an option.  The bus takes nearly half an hour.
