Watch the Birdie

This handsome Russian Blue cat belongs to a neighbour of ours, and this afternoon he was sitting on our path looking up at the bird feeders. He’d better not do more than look, that’s all I can say!

Today I’ve been preparing for the forthcoming visit from the Winchester branch of the family over the weekend, and I’ve also been to see a friend who’s nearly blind to help finish off her online application for a blue badge. Quite how she was supposed to fill in all the information and supply all the digital copies of photographs and documents without being able to see, I don’t know, but between us we managed it. 

Oh, and Smithers says thank you, he was tickled pink to hear of all your reactions to his baking efforts yesterday, and felt very chuffed by them!
