Lighthouse

You might have to go large and use a magnifying glass to see it! Sunset from my new vantage point above the house.

Yoga in the morning -- it's actually getting easier after only three sessions! Amaya is excusing me from using a chair for some postures now. Afterwards I picked up S from home and we did a big shop. S bought roast chicken and chips for lunch, eaten on the terrace for once! Gracia, the owner of the house, came round with a big sack of avocados, an even bigger sack of lemons, and loads of fresh almonds. Lovely!

I made a sourdough loaf for tomorrow lunchtime, and then a lemon cheesecake to use up some of the lemon stash. Guests for lunch tomorrow, crossing our fingers we can eat on the terrace!

While I was cooking, S went out for a walk with Antonio, whom we met at the intercambio. He's a great talker (as opposed to listener), and a great walker. As we get to know more people in Almuñecar, we find more connections ... it turns out he sold his house to our former neighbours B and C, and it was his uncle who formerly owned our petit coin de paradis.

Home, aperos, relax ...
