A Hint of Spring..

...No ice sculptures, but icicles; no ice on the path, but mud; and still snow, but just an extra dusting today, not a deluge.

My reward for finally gathering my income tax papers and delivering them to my accountant? A walk on the beach on a mild day with a warm jacket but no mitts! 

A cloudy sky at mid-day with not much bird action? Not the perfect conditions for photos, but still there were some opportunities...and I did love the three geese walking across the pristine cover on the frozen marsh... leaving only footprints...hopefully! 

Such a beautiful and long-awaited mild day....a reminder that spring is coming...oh, except for that Nor'easter that is on its way...
