Stained Glass

A slow Sunday morning, then a rush to do a few things before TT and I headed off to meet up with his sister and husband.  We left BB behind, as he had other plans.

We met them for lunch near Bamburgh, then drove to Bamburgh and went for a  brisk and bracing walk on the beach.  It was windy, but much milder than of late.  It was a lovely walk.  We then had a walk around the village, popping into the church before saying our goodbyes and heading back up the road.  We stopped off for provisions and got home to an empty house, with signs of some school work having been done in front of the rugby.

We weren’t very hungry, so tea for us wasn’t really required.  We had had a bigger lunch than we had planned, so ended up just sharing a pizza. BB had been invited for tea and to meet the parents.  He came home much later than I expected, having had a lovely time, and lots of food.

This lovely stained glass is in the church.  The extra is looking over to Seahouses from the beach.
