Social time …

… and more sorting out.

We took a friend for breakfast this morning.  She was volunteering with the coast guard and while transferring to a boat they were helping had a fall that resulted in a very badly broken arm. We decided she needed some cheering up.  We went to a little family-run restaurant that we like to support and had a delicious breakfast, with lots of talk.  Our friend is always positive and makes us laugh, so it was a happy breakfast.

After returning home we loaded a mirror, the worm farm, a big pot plant and some empty plant pots into the car and delivered them to our friend, who was thrilled to receive them.  We’re so pleased she wanted the worm farm because otherwise we would have had to sacrifice the worms.

We need to do an inventory for insurance purposes, which is proving a major task, so I’ve decided to photograph everything in the hope that it’ll make the task easier, and it will also be a good record to have. There is still a lot to do but it’s one step at a time.

I took photos of four plants in the garden for today’s blip.  Top right and bottom left are two phygelius plants, top left is a cosmos and bottom right a hydrangea.
