Collared Doves

It’s a sofa-shot from the conservatory today. A pair of collared doves seem to have established a meeting place in our garden, and there’s a degree of preening and displaying going on, feathers catching in the welcome rays of sun in a day that’s been generally dull. 

As expected, it’s been a fairly difficult day after a sleepless night, and I’ve not left the house. Surgery contacted, antibiotics prescribed; a different variety and a 7 day course this time - apparently a 5 day course is now the norm for UTIs - clearly not enough in my case.
