Mono Monday

The theme is tradition. Unfortunately I blipped next week’s theme of celebration. This is a display to mark the celebration of 50 years of the embroidery group here in Bathurst. I saw it in the library this afternoon. SO I’ll have to mention the needlepoint tradition that has been passed down through generations. Unfortunately I don’t know many young people who still know how to do these intricate designs let alone thread a needle. They looked very vibrant in colour. I’ll add an extra. 

The other extra is a traditional tiny cottage which has a huge extension built on the back. It is just up the road from my place but I hadn’t noticed it before,
