Heritage

Another broken night due to the early light.

Managed to have a long video call with Gordon which was good. Breakfast and more chat then it was time to go.

Stopped off first at the Garioch Heritage Society Museum in the old locoworls. I helped set it up. The room with the history of Tait's Paper Paper Mill was fascinating. It was getting cloudy but still warm. Decided to go via Crathes Castle, just the gardens.  Had a walk round there then some food sitting outside.

Took the Slug Road over to Stonehaven then a good run down until the 8 minute queue for the Bridge. I decided to bite the bullet ( a phrase I've used a lot this weekend) and after this weekend's deviations, start using Waze. It was actually ok and of course I didn't really need it on this journey but a good trial.

Sat outside for a bit but it was getting cloudier and cooler and it was clear the forecast rain wasn't far away.

Watched a bit of TV but I am really tired, heat, talk, driving, lack of sleep, emotional draining so an early night. The rain has started.
