Blue on Blue?

An active day today, Errands in the morning and an afternoon big strimmer session,  in our neighbour's section of the rail cutting.

While Gill was helping a friend with sewing, I had a walk around Ryton Pools where I came across several of these damselflies and a single dragonfly.  Is this a good idea for the damselfly to get so close?

In the evening we went back to Leamington as the paddle board and kayak people had a demo evening with Red Paddle and Jobe who are two of the more serious paddle board manufacturers.  I borrowed a wet suit and had a quick try on three or four boards.  Think I might have found a preference - its the one in the extra.  Gill had her mobile and was happy getting a few shots to send to our family. Happily, there was no repeat of Tuesday's falling in event.  She was remarkably unfazed when I asked the price of the one I liked :-)
