Still standing!

The wet and windy weather has caused a lot of damage in the garden. There are even apple windfalls on the lawn. The slugs have clearly had a go at this defiant clematis flower.

I watched a fascinating video today. The speaker was Alister Benn and he talked about his photographic journey and his way of working now. Photography has helped him through problems with his mental health. 

His talk was inspiring and thought provoking. This clematis seemed ideal to blip after listening to him.

The roofers did not return today. The chief roofer is ill and had to have an emergency scan yesterday. He assures me that they left the tiles in such a way that we will not be flooded out by the weekend storm that is ahead of us.......

Tonight I'm going to watch a Wild Photography Holidays presentation of their new Greenland trip. I don't think I want to go somewhere and wear crampons but it will be interesting to see what is on offer.
