Jude is 3!

This lovely photo came whilst I was in the shower. Had to use it. 
The news of her birth came about this time three years ago as we looked after Eda on a lovely sunny day.


Amazingly we’ve had a lovely sunny day today too. Set off just before 7.00 am for the early walk with the ladies, just 5 of us today. The sun was rising so it was lovely walking through what is left of the trees past Lady Blantyre’s Rock in dappled sunlight though it was distinctly cool when I set off. Absolutely felt the first day of Autumn today.
Very wet across the fields and all the swans were present when we reached Coppice Pond so I was able to feed them and the ducks.
After breakfast I did a good bit of tidying in the garden using our new garden bags. They are so big we will have to be careful not to fill them too much. It looked quite full when I finished and came in for coffee but it wasn’t packed down so light enough to lift.
 

Had a FaceTime with Grace after getting the picture and Jude showed me a huge card she got from Eda with a 3 on it. You can just see her ready for school in her PE kit in the background of the photo, her birthday in exactly a week.

We are going to have a present opening FaceTime shortly and Jude will have her first party in her own right on Sunday morning, dressing up and face painting and pink cake of course!
