Eda and the whale!

One week on and it’s Eda’s turn to celebrate a birthday (as well as the weekend parties of course). It seems she’s got a blue whale as well as a blue balloon both matching her PE kit which she is wearing as it’s PE day today. (The whale has a zip mouth so she can put things in it!)

As I said yesterday Chris is doing his turn on the Luncheon club rota today. He did his very first session exactly 6 years ago on the day that Eda was born. As we knew when she was coming (a C section)  I went down on the train as I couldn’t bear to wait.
How quickly these 6 years have passed.

Storm Agnes has been and gone so this morning’s early walk was dry. Rather dull with a bit of a breeze but a surprisingly warm one.

Later we will have family FaceTime to speak to Eda when she gets home from school and opens our presents. Hope she’s had a lovely day. She started it well with chocolate pancakes!
