A view from Jeanneb

One week on.

Last week we were in the middle of Storm Debi. The little Rowan tree was showing the best of its leaf colour so I took a, rather bad, picture of it through the living room window.

A better day today so I went into the garden to take this shot of it, unsurprisingly, now denuded of its leaves. They didn’t all fall to Debi’s fury but it’s taken less than a week for them to disappear.

I’m pleased there are some pretty berries left to brighten up the corner. The birds often perch here to take their turn on the feeders but don’t seem interested in the berries.

A good sing this morning and more singing to come tonight at church choir practice. One good thing about Storm Debi was the  practice last week was cancelled due to the bad weather. I don’t mind the singing but dislike walking up the village in the dark to sing in a cold church!
