Salt’s Mill Iridescence

Up at church quite early to help put up the Christmas tree. As requested the heating had been put on as it took us an hour and a half to do and it was bitterly cold out side.
Chris was out in the cold changing outdoor lightbulbs, I did take a stint out there holding the ladder for him.

After we popped down to Saltaire world heritage village still on my quest for tissue wrap.

We went into Salt’s Mill for a coffee and as the lunchtime menu had just started we indulged in a rather nice lunch.
Later, taking a look around the fabulous Home (Design) Shop, I found just what I wanted. Such fabulous things in there and this trio of iridescent penguins were sparkling in the sunlight (the blip doesn’t really so them justice). They also had a different and unusual take on a Christmas tree - extra. Of course I had to browse the book store, wonderful as always.

A busy and fun morning.

(The coffee cup by the way is illustrated by Hockney’s Boodgie - the mill us the home if the Hockney Gallery)
